Blessing Baskets

Blessing Baskets are a community outreach of FBBC. Blessing Baskets will be gathered between Sunday, November 27 and Sunday, December 11. This year some of the items have been changed to provide food for more than just a single meal for the needy families who will receive the baskets. Items in the basket have been priced and can be purchased for as low as $15.00. Generic products are acceptable. You may bring as many completed baskets as desired, and monies may be given to the church to purchase turkeys.

 

Items needed in each basket:

1 Can Sweet Potatoes (29/30 oz.)

1 Can Greens (Mustard, Turnip) (27 oz.)

2 Cans Green Beans (14.5 oz. ea.)

1 Can Cranberry Sauce (16 oz.)

2 Cans Evaporated Milk (12 oz. ea.)

2 Boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix

1 Package Gumbo Base (like Oak Grove) (5 oz.)

2 Bags Dried Black-Eyed Peas or Beans (1 lb.)

1 Bag Rice (5 lbs.)
