The Music Ministry of FBBC strives to engage people to worship God’s glory
while uniting together to impact God’s creation.
Through a variety of musical groups, eclectic musical styles and a diversity of generations, we seek to reach out to all ages while maintaining a clear Christ-centered focus. You are invited to be a part of this active ministry at Florida Boulevard. Whether your skills include singing, playing, acting, creating, or writing, we have a place for you. Adult Choir
The Adult Choir is open to anyone ages 17 and up. No experience is required, just a teachable spirit, ability to match pitch and a commitment to weekly rehearsals, seasonal events and Sunday morning worship services. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Childcare is provided.
Worship Band & Orchestra
The Worship Band & Orchestra lead our congregation each week in our Sunday morning service. Additionally, they provide accompaniment for seasonal and special services throughout the year. An audition and interview are required for musicians interested in participating in this group. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Childcare is provided.
Vocal Praise Teams
Selected through an audition and interview process, these vocalists serve as lead worshipers in our Sunday morning services and as members of the Adult Choir.
Technical Ministry Team
The Technical Ministry Team provides technical assistance to a variety of ministries as well as all campus worship events. Tech savvy folks can get involved with sound, lighting, and backstage assistance. An interview is required.
Remnant Student Choir
Youth in grades 7th through 12th and several of our college students comprise the newest musical group at FBBC. This group has sung in various worship services and at BREC Parks. Beginning in January 2012, Remnant will be preparing and leading in other venues including a summer choir tour. Weekly rehearsals take place on Sundays at 4:30 p.m. in the Music Suite. All youth and college students are welcome to attend.
Preschool & Children’s Choir
Preschool & Children’s Choirs consist of 3-year-olds through sixth graders. The choirs meet during the school year on Sunday evenings from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. They have sung in various worship services and at the BREC Park Christmas ceremony. Beginning in January, the children's choirs will be working on Race to Win, a musical to be presented on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
