WHAT IS IT?
ART-is-IN is a performing arts day camp
geared to today's 1st-6th graders. Using
high energy music, relevant drama,
visual and technical arts, dance,
movement, sign language, and percussion
skills, kids who participate in a
week-long ART-is-IN camp will learn and
perform a complete Broadway style
musical. Kids have opportunities to
participate in a wide variety of the
fine and performing arts, to develop new
skills and to hone existing ones.
WHERE IS IT?
Florida Boulevard Baptist Church is
hosting a week of
ART-is-IN. Kids will meet at the church each day for a full day
of fun with the ART-is-IN staff. The
church is located at 10915 Florida
Boulevard in Baton Rouge.
WHO IS IT?
Any child age 6-12 (completed K-6th) is
welcome to register and attend
ART-is-IN. No church affiliation is
required.
WHEN IS IT?
ART-is-IN begins Tuesday, May 27 at 9 am
and culminates with a final performance
on Saturday, May 31 at 2 PM. Camp hours
are 9 am-3 pm daily. The performance on
Saturday will end at 3 PM. Extended care
options for before and after the camp
day are available through the church
office
HOW MUCH IS IT?
Early registration discount for the
full week of ART-is-IN is $55 per camper
if registered by April 21st. After April
21s' registration is $65 per camper.
Kids bring their own lunch each day, and
snacks are provided. The fee covers
each child's music, listening CD, camp
t-shirt, and costume rental for the
show. There are no additional fees. For

LUNCH
Please remember to send a lunch with
your child each day. We do not
have staff available to assist children
with lunches that require special
preparation (cutting, microwaving,
etc.). Please provide a lunch that
is "ready to eat." We also serve 2
snacks per day. If your child has
special dietary needs, we will be glad
to provide him/her with individual
snacks that you provide.
