Women

The Women's Ministry Program at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church seeks to equip women to enrich their lives, their families and the lives of other women through Christ; to enable a woman to serve her church and community; and lead women to become women of faith with their entire lives based on the Word of God.

Scripture:

“Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live,…to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” Titus 2:3-5

Purpose:

To enrich the women of our church with the power of God’s Holy Word; to help each woman discover her God-given gifts; to lead other women to Christ; to live Godly lives; to be women of strong faith and prayer; to help fellow women in their times of need; and to spread God’s message throughout the land.

*Crochet classes-call church office for sign up

*Assembling finger puppets/bags (contain finger puppet, candy and ministry trac) for Puppet Ministry for December Parade.

Elder Care Ministry Meets Weekly

Nursing Home Ministry

Monday: Care Center Nursing Home at 10:00 am-11:00 am

•Visitation to shut-in’s in homes, assisted living communities and nursing homes. Meet at FBBC (Welcome Center) before going out to visit. Wednesday: 9:00- 11:00 at FBBC

Support Groups that are open to all members of FBBC and our community:

Please feel free to schedule one-on-one ministry sessions as time permits.

Alzheimer’ Support Group-2nd. Wednesday of every month – 3:00-4:30 held in the Welcome Center.

Grief Share Support Group-Christ Centered grief recovery ministry featuring 13 weekly dvd sessions. The sessions are held every Thursday at 1:30.
