The Southeast Ministries is a food pantry ministry that our church supports and where several of members volunteer. This ministry collects and distributes groceries to those in need within and around our community.

The Southeast Ministries depends completely on volunteers. All volunteers are trained by the ministry for each specific job. Typically, volunteers work  one day a week for 3 hours (shifts are from 10:00am-1:00pm, and from 1:00pm-4:00pm). Volunteers sign up to work one quarter of a year at a time (ex. July, August, and September). If a volunteer needs to miss a shift, fill-ins are available.

Our church has made a commitment to buy peanut butter and jelly for the Southeast Ministries and there are collection baskets around the church. The ministry is a full service food pantry and therefore welcomes donations beyond peanut butter and jelly.
